As already stated above, ULVAC features a turnkey production line of solar cells, and this means the customer who purchases the line could start producing solar cells right after starting up the equipments.

Our turnkey production line of solar cells has been certified by TUV Rheinland, a certification body in Germany. Customers who purchase our turnkey production line have the benefit of obtaining certification from TUV Rheinland quickly after the installation of our turnkey line is completed.

In addition, we established a research institute for solar cell in April 2009 and started services of evaluating the performance and safety of solar cell modules in May in a tie-up with TUV Rheinland Japan Ltd. ULVAC is the world’s first solar cell manufacturing equipment provider to newly install a testing laboratory in addition to the thin-film solar cell demonstration line in the Chigasaki Plant.
